Visiting the Anthropology Museum
The UQ Anthropology Museum is located on the St Lucia campus, Queensland’s oldest and most established university campus.
Visiting Opening hours
The Anthropology Museum maintains a Museum shop in the display case beside the front desk. The Shop features a changing and eclectic range of products with a strong emphasis on items from community-based art centres and organisations. The display can include artworks, textiles, books, greeting cards, CDs and more. Information on contributing artists, the techniques they employ and their communities is included with the product wherever possible.
In addition to supporting community producers, all purchases from the shop contribute to the Museum.
EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities are available. The Museum shop is open Monday to Friday from 11am – 3pm.
