Please join Museum Director Diana Young and the collaborative team Clive Moore, Graham Baines and Annie Ross for a curator panel talk on the Anthropology Museum's new exhibition Solomon Islands: re-enchantment and the colonial shadow.

Among the 28,000 items that the UQ Anthropology Museum is privileged to care for are more than five hundred remarkable things and images recorded as being from Solomon Islands.

This exhibition offers something glimpsed and partial suggested by the contents of this collection and by some contemporary works. It aims to return the Solomons collection things to an enchanted state (Hillman 1982), one that is alive with new possibilities for shaping the present and the future.

To register attendance please email anthmuseum@uq.edu.au or phone (07) 3365 2674.
